President / CEO
Juan Lopez is the President of InQwest Inc, where he serves as a Project Manager and Senior Security Engineer. Throughout his 15 years of progressive experience as a computer science professional, Juan has served the Department of Defense, Department of Labor, Department of Homeland Security & other commercial companies. Juan conducts technical assessments including penetration testing, network infrastructure, web application security, and information assurance on government and commercial systems. His background in security & cybersecurity operations, and NIST based accreditations allow him to deliver in-depth and holistic security assessments.
Juan is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Web App Penetration Tester (CWAPT), and Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) with a degree in Computer Science from Frostburg State University. Juan founded InQwest Inc. in 2015 as a direct reflection of his cybersecurity experience, work ethic, and professional beliefs that are culminated in the company’s “No Compromise on Quality” approach.
Walter Watanabe is the Vice President at InQwest Inc., where he serves as a Web Application Subject Matter Expert and Senior Security Engineer. Throughout his eighteen years of progressive experience as a computer science professional, Walter has served the Department of Defense, Department of Labor, Department of Homeland Security, and other commercial companies. Walter conducts technical assessments for web applications, mobile applications, and network infrastructures within the government and commercial sectors. He utilizes his skillsets from a web and database development background to deliver in-depth and holistic security assessments. Walter’s dedication to IT security resonates in his belief to deliver a quality product and outstanding client support.
Walter is a CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP+), GIAC Certified Web App Penetration Tester (GWAPT), and Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) and holds an Information System Management degree from George Mason University. Walter’s cybersecurity experience, work ethic, and professional beliefs are reflected in the company’s “No Compromise on Quality” approach.
